Departments and Degree Programs
University College of Anuradhapura established under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skill Development will jointly provide infrastructure facilities to provide better technology education for those who had completed their school education. The college has a separate special ordinance in the University of Vocational Training Act of 2014.
The University College caters to A/L qualified students and NVQ 4 level qualified professionals. It conducts NVQ level 05 and NVQ level 06 (National Diploma and Higher National Diploma) courses and future students who wish to continue studies can join the University of Vocational Technology (UoVT) at Ratmalana.
The college conducts 09 courses, 07 are technical. The college is well equipped the latest laboratory equipment and apparatus. All the courses are three (03) years and four (04) months except Drafting Technology.
